I designed and delivered a week-long, in-person training program for educators piloting Nunavut’s new full-day kindergarten curriculum. Held in Iqaluit in September 2023, the training was hands-on and focused on what educators would need to do in their classrooms, highlighting practical activities they could use with their students. The program also included visits to local kindergarten classrooms, giving educators the chance to connect the training to real teaching contexts. I collaborated with Inuit educators to ensure the sessions reflected local knowledge and perspectives. Based on positive feedback and evaluation data, I updated and re-delivered the program for the next cohort of teachers in September 2024.
