I designed and delivered a week-long, in-person training program for educators piloting Nunavut’s newly developed full-day kindergarten curriculum. Held in Iqaluit in September 2023, the training was designed to be hands-on, allowing educators to participate in practical learning activities they could bring directly into their classrooms. The training also included visits to kindergarten classrooms in local schools, allowing teachers to reflect on how to implement the new curriculum. I co-facilitated the sessions with Inuit educators, ensuring the training reflected local knowledge and perspectives. The program’s impact led to a request to repeat the training for the next cohort of teachers in September 2024.
